The 2nd transnational project meeting of the EU project “SoftAware – International cooperation in the field of higher education for developing software talents” took place in Larnaca, Cyprus, on 7-9 July 2021, hosted by PCX Computers and Information Systems. After almost a long period of online meetings, an opportunity was finally given to the partners for an in-person meeting which facilitated a smoother communication of the objectives of the project, aiming to a successful result.

The meeting was introduced by a brief overview of the objectives and planned discussions, followed by an overview of the implemented activities and the finalisation of the IO1 : Bachelor Degree Curriculum in Software Technologies. Then, time was dedicated to the IO2: Software Open Online Courses and the next steps. There was also a discussion concerning the IO3 SoftAware Soft Skills Toolkit for University Lecturers in Computer Sciences and the timeline for the implementation of the pending tasks of all the IOs.

The extension of the SoftAware project was discussed and it was decided that the project should get a 3-month extension.

The meeting was finalised with A3: Project Dissemination & Exploitation, Project implementation deliverables and tasks assignment for the next six months and an overall evaluation of the meeting session by all the partners.
