sCOOL-IT Web Adventure Workshop in Cyprus

The sCOOL-IT Web Adventure Workshop in Cyprus organized by PCX, took place on the 21st of June 2022.

This event was one of the national multiplier events organised in each partner country with the main goal to share the outputs developed during the project lifetime and to disseminate them among interested stakeholders.

The workshop had the following objectives:

  • To present the developed intellectual outputs within the sCOOL-IT project and to explain how they can make use of them.
  • To demonstrate the WebQuest challenge-based teaching approach.
  • To establish contacts with individuals (teachers, trainers of teachers, policy makers) and organizations (schools, universities, and other educational institutions), which can ensure multiplier effect and sustainability of the project results on a national level.

The Workshop’s participants were secondary school teachers and headmasters, trainers of teachers and future teachers (students studying pedagogy/ graduates in pedagogy).

The speakers of the event were the main PCX project team.
The agenda of the event was:

  1. Presentation of PCX company
  2. Presentation of the sCOOL-IT project, its products, its goals and its potential if properly used
  3. Presentation of the Web Adventure Portal for teachers and students
  4. Practical demonstration of the sCOOL-IT WebQuests
  5. Presentation of the sCOOL-IT Online Training Programme for teachers and educators
  6. Presentation of the sCOOL-IT Web Adventure Development Toolkit
  7. Questions/Clarifications/Discussion
  8. Award of certificates of attendance
